WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO VARY THE FOLLOWING IF CONDITIONS DEMAND

All users of the park must observe these conditions and regulations and any bye-laws applying to the park made by the local authority. Anyone in breach of any conditions may be asked to leave the park.

Families: Robin Hood Caravan Park does not cater for mixed or single sex groups, of any age. Bookings can only be accepted from a family or a couple. Anyone found to have made individual bookings - and then form a group on arrival - may be asked to leave the park. 

Dogs: There is no charge for dogs. Dogs must be ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES ON THE CARAVAN PARK. Dogs must be exercised in the appropriate areas. Maximum of 2 dogs per unit.

We do not accept breeds or crossbreeds listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act (Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro and XL Bully)

Pitches: Super Pitches have a 8m size limit. All maximum size limits are the caravan shipping length i.e. including tow bar. We do not accept awning annexes or gazebos.

Folding campers and trailer tents are classed as a Tent, NOT a Touring Caravan, and cannot be accepted. 

Pitch Rules: Generators are not allowed to be used at any time. Gas and Charcoal BBQs are allowed for cooking purposes only. We do not allow open fires, wooden stoves, fire pits or the use of wood on BBQs

Payments: A non-refundable deposit of £60 per pitch per week or part week, or full payment when the total amount is less than the deposit required. Reservations are made subject to the site being available on receipt of your deposit. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. A balance payment reminder is sent by email only. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival must be paid for in full. Bookings cancelled after this time will not be refunded. Debit and Credit Cards are free of charge. Cheques to be made payable to Robin Hood Caravan Park.

Cancellations: Cancellations within 6 weeks of arrival are non-refundable. Deposits are non refundable for cancellations more than 6 weeks of arrival. Balances are not payable for bookings more than 6 weeks before arrival. Cancellations must be in writing to info@robinhoodcaravanpark.co.uk

Cancellations due to Covid-19 (or variant of). Bookings that can not legally go ahead (i.e. government lockdown) will receive a credit voucher for the fees paid to enable the guest to rearrange their booking. 

We strongly recommend that guests have adequate travel insurance to cover cancellations.

Change of Dates: All date changes must be during the current season only. If the 'new dates' are an additional cost the standard payment terms apply. Any additional funds are due immediately if within 6 weeks of arrival. Additional deposits may apply if the 'new dates' would have a higher original deposit. If the 'new dates' are a lesser figure then any additional payments made are available as a credit voucher to be used during the current season only. Change of date charges are as follows:

  • More than 42 days prior to arrival - No charge
  • Between 42 days and 15 days prior to arrival - £20.00
  • Between 14 days and 0 days prior to arrival - Change of dates not allowed

Customer Amendments: All customer amendments are for a change of guest to a current booking. Any increase in charges due to additional extras, extra guests etc must be paid immediately. There are no refunds or credit vouchers if the amended guest(s) does not use pre-booked additional extras. All customer amendments must be requested in writing to info@robinhoodcaravanpark.co.uk with full contact information for new guest(s) and approved by management. All charges must be paid, in full, to confirm amendments. Customer amendment charges are as follows:

  • More than 42 days prior to arrival - No charge
  • Between 42 days and 15 days prior to arrival - £20.00
  • Between 14 days and 0 days prior to arrival - £40.00

Credit Vouchers: Credit Vouchers will be valid on any caravan or pitch type and any dates (subject to availability) during the current season.

Check in: Sites are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Please notify in advance of any arrival after 6pm or a later date. We reserve the right to relet the pitch if not informed.

Check out: On departure, site to be vacated by 11am unless alternative arrangements have been authorised in Reception.

Minimum Stays: Minimum night stays are required over all Bank Holiday weekends, school holidays, Castle Howard concert weekends and where other conditions demand.

Vehicles: Dropside Commercial Vehicles, Motorcycles, Scooters, Quads/ATVs and Drones are not allowed on the caravan park at any time. Electric Vehicle charging from the pitch is strictly forbidden. Anybody charging a vehicle will be asked to leave the park with no refund provided.

Waste and rubbish: Wipes, sanitary-wear, nappies and cloths of any kind must not be flushed down the toilets but wrapped and placed in the bin provided. They block our sewage pumps - not pleasant! Only empty chemical toilets at the Elsan point. Empty waste water down designated drains. Use recycling bins for glass, newspapers and cans. Wrap household waste and put in wheelie bins. Please do not drop litter.

Visitors and Security: All guests/visitors are requested to report to reception on arrival and pay the appropriate fee. Children under 6 years old must be accompanied when using toilet block facilities. Be aware of where your children are and what they are doing. The toilet block and other occupied pitches are not play areas.

Disclaimer: The management will not accept responsibility for the loss, theft, damage or injury to any person or their property whilst on the premises. Robin Hood Caravan Park (Crows Nest Farm Ltd) are not responsible for any matter of which you were aware and did not bring to our attention during your holiday.

To ensure a safe and friendly atmosphere, we don't knowingly allow any guest to use or visit our parks who: (i) has an unspent criminal conviction; (ii) has an entry on a criminal register (including the sex offenders' register); (iii) has any record of any order indicating antisocial behaviour, violence, abuse, public disorder, or criminal damage or any other form of antisocial behaviour; (iv) is a convicted sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003; or (v) is subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice. If you don't disclose this information about yourself or any other member of your party, and it later becomes known to us, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and require that you, and the other members of your party, leave the park, without refund.

Force Majeure: Robin Hood Caravan Park (Crows Nest Farm Ltd) are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). For bookings made on or after 26th May 2020, if your stay with us is affected by government guidelines and/or restrictions, you will receive a credit voucher for the total value of monies paid to date. The voucher will be valid on stays in the current season. 

Robin Hood Caravan Park (Crows Nest Farm Ltd) strongly recommends that customers take out their own travel insurance.
