Facilities
We would advise against having a supermarket shop being delivered since, in the past, we have had supermarket deliveries arrive before guests. Unfortunately we can not accept supermarket deliveries on behalf of guests nor do we have any storage facilities to keep your shopping until you arrive. You must arrange to meet the driver outside reception, particularly if you arrange for the delivery outside of reception opening times, as delivery vehicles are not allowed on the park. A shop on site has everyday essentials for your arrival. We also encourage guests to use some of the great farmers markets, farm shops and other local, independent stores in the area. The big supermarkets of Morrisons, Tesco, Lidl and Sainsburys can be found locally in Filey or Scarborough - all of which are open until 10pm.
Yes, there is a bus stop in the village which is a 5 minute walk from the end of the drive. The 12 service (from East Yorkshire Motor Services) travels to Scarborough in one direction and Hull in the other. We are also well serviced by trains with stations at Filey, Scarborough and Seamer (where there is free parking at the station). If you’d prefer to get a taxi, just ask at reception and we’ll give you details of local companies who can help you.
