Families: Bookings can only be accepted for family parties or couples. We DO NOT ACCEPT same or majority gender parties of 3 or more people.

Dogs: Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and exercised in the dog park or on the cliff top (off lead optional in dog park). Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.

We do not accept breeds or crossbreeds listed on the Dangerous Dogs Act (Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro and XL Bully)

Pitches: One unit per pitch only. 

We have a 7m maximum size limit on tent pitches with electric hook up. We recommend a 15m electric cable for electric hook up pitches. No size limit on non electric tent pitches.

Super Pitches have a 26ft size limit. All maximum size limits are the caravan shipping length i.e. including tow bar. We do not accept awning annexes.

Folding campers are classed as a Tent, NOT a Touring Caravan. Pup Tents include 2 under 14s (2 man tent only).

Pitch Rules: Generators are not allowed to be used at any time. BBQs are allowed for cooking purposes only. We do not allow open fires or fire pits.

Overflow Field: During busy periods i.e. school holidays and bank holidays, tents may be placed on an overflow field. We do not guarantee that pitches will be with the sea view as advertised. Please call us for up to date information on pitch locations for specific dates.

Payments: A non-refundable deposit of £60 per pitch per week or part week, or full payment when the total amount is less than the deposit required. Reservations are made subject to the site being available on receipt of your deposit. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. A balance payment reminder is sent by email only. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival must be paid for in full. Debit and Credit Cards are free of charge. Cheques to be made payable to Crows Nest Caravan Park.

Cancellations: Cancellations within 6 weeks of arrival are non-refundable. Deposits are non refundable for cancellations more than 6 weeks of arrival. Balances are not payable for bookings more than 6 weeks before arrival. Cancellations must be in writing to

Cancellations due to Covid-19 (or variant of). Bookings that can not legally go ahead (i.e. government lockdown) will receive a credit voucher for the fees paid to enable the guest to rearrange their booking. 

We strongly recommend that guests have adequate travel insurance to cover cancellations.

Change of Dates: All date changes must be during the current season only. If the 'new dates' are an additional cost the standard payment terms apply. Any additional funds are due immediately if within 6 weeks of arrival. Additional deposits may apply if the 'new dates' would have a higher original deposit. If the 'new dates' are a lesser figure then any additional payments made are available as a credit voucher to be used during the current season only. Change of date charges are as follows:

  • More than 42 days prior to arrival - No charge
  • Between 42 days and 15 days prior to arrival - £20.00
  • Between 14 days and 0 days prior to arrival - Change of dates not allowed

Credit Vouchers: Credit Vouchers will be valid on any caravan or pitch type and any dates (subject to availability) during the current season.

Arrival/Departure: Pitches are available from 12 noon on the day of arrival. Please notify in advance of any arrival after 6pm or a later date. Your booking will be held for 24 hours for non-arrivals. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your pitch if not informed. On departure, site to be vacated by 12 noon unless alternative arrangements have been authorised in Reception.

No refunds, discounts or compensation for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Facilities: The bar, supermarket and fish shop may not be open at all times early and late season. The supermarket and swimming pool are open from Easter until the end of September. Opening times vary depending on the time of year.

There is an additional charge for the swimming pool. 

Due to Covid-19 and the affect on staff shortages we can not guarantee that all facilities will be open as planned in the 2023 season. No compensation or refunds will be paid due to lack of facilities.

Generators: Generators are not allowed to be used at any time.

Vehicles: Dropside Commercial Vehicles, Motorcycles, Scooters, Quads/ATVs and Drones are not allowed on the caravan park at any time. Electric Vehicle charging from the pitch is strictly forbidden. Anybody charging a vehicle will be asked to leave the park with no refund provided.

Disclaimer: The management will not accept responsibility for the loss, theft, damage or injury to any person or their property whilst on the premises. Crows Nest Camp Ltd are not responsible for any matter of which you were aware and did not bring to our attention during your holiday.

To ensure a safe and friendly atmosphere, we don't knowingly allow any guest to use or visit our parks who: (i) has an unspent criminal conviction; (ii) has an entry on a criminal register (including the sex offenders' register); (iii) has any record of any order indicating antisocial behaviour, violence, abuse, public disorder, or criminal damage or any other form of antisocial behaviour; (iv) is a convicted sex offender, subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003; or (v) is subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice. If you don't disclose this information about yourself or any other member of your party, and it later becomes known to us, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and require that you, and the other members of your party, leave the park, without refund.

Force Majeure: Crows Nest Camp Ltd are not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event they are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond their control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, pandemics, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). For bookings made on or after 1st May 2020, if your stay with us is affected by government guidelines and/or restrictions, you will receive a credit voucher for the total value of monies paid to date. The voucher will be valid on stays in the current season. 

Crows Nest Camp Ltd strongly recommend that customers take out their own travel insurance.
