Don't miss the famous Whitby Goth Weekend this spring - held all across the town with things to do and see for everyone.
Whitby hosts this weird and whacky festival twice a year to celebrate the Gothic culture. Set under Bram Stoker's inspiration for Dracula, Whitby Abbey, the town comes to life for a weekend of alternative live music, gothic stalls and fantastic outfits and costumes worn by festival-goers.
The festival has ran since 1994 and grows every year with more extravagant fashion and Goths arriving from all over the world. The event really is a must-see during a visit to the Yorkshire Coast.
