8/09/2025
If you love good food, live music, and a vibrant atmosphere, York Food Festival is one for the calendar! Taking over the city centre from 19th to 28th September 2025, this year’s festival promises to be the biggest and best yet.
With free entry and something happening every day, it's a fantastic excuse to explore York while tasting your way around some of the region’s best food and drink. Whether you're a dedicated foodie or just enjoy a great day out, the 2025 line-up has something for everyone.
What to Expect at York Food Festival 2025
There’ll be over 90 food and drink stalls, showcasing everything from award-winning Yorkshire produce to exciting flavours from York’s twin towns of Dijon (France) and Münster (Germany). This year sees the debut of the Yorkshire Producers Stand, where you can try seaweed-flavoured beer, smoked charcuterie, local sea salt, and more.
Festival hubs include the Entertainment Marquee and the York Gin Beer Garden, with live music to enjoy while you browse, sip and snack.

One of the highlights of the festival is the range of hands-on events and tastings – including:

Planning Your Visit from Robin Hood Caravan Park
York's Monks Cross Park & Ride is just over 20 minutes away from Robin Hood Caravan Park by car, and this is a fantastic way to spend a day exploring the city. You can dip into the festival for a couple of hours or make a full day of it – and with so many different events across the 10 days, you might even want to go twice!
