This half term offers lots of local festivals and activities for families, adults and children of all ages. If you're visiting one of our sites over the holidays, don't miss out on some of the exciting events taking place near us. Here's our top picks.
Malton Food Lovers Festival
24th - 26th May
Immerse yourself in the very best food and drink of North Yorkshire at Malton's incredibly popular Food Lovers Festival, held just a few times a year. Taking place in the town's market square over the Bank Holiday weekend, the festival is a celebration of the region's finest produce and will have plenty of delicious street food stalls, talks and tastings to enjoy.

Pickering Vintage Rally
24th - 26th May
See the very best of vintage at Pickering's annual showcase rally, located at the Galtres Showground. This year expect huge displays of everything from traction engines to classic vehicles and traditional fairground entertainment.
The Stannage International Stunt Show takes centre stage in the main arena with motorbike stunts, car jumps and more. There will also be a magic show for the little visitors, and much more.

Zoolab at Dalby Forest
27th & 29th May
Zoolab Animal Encounters is a family-friendly event giving visitors the chance to learn, see and even handle some facinating animals. Meet snakes, tarantulas, giant snails and many more creatures, and listen to the talks to learn all about their lives and habitats. Pre-booking is required for both adults and children - show times are between 11am - 2pm.

Scarborough Streets Festival
30th May - 1st June
Back for 2025, the Scarborough Streets Festival aims to inspire and celebrate local creativity with hundreds of outdoor performances taking place across the town. See performances from dancers, choirs, magicians, clowns and more - all free of charge. There is also expected to be a handful of workshops available to take part in such as dancing, circus skills and arts and crafts.
Visit Scarborough over the weekend to get involved in the festival. There is something for everyone on offer!

Entertainment at Crows Nest Caravan Park
