Scarborough Athletic Football Club

Crows Nest Caravan Park is the proud shirt sponsor of the 2013/14 Scarborough Athletic FC away shirt. Scarborough Athletic currently plays in the Northern Premier League Division One South, which is in the eighth tier of English football.

Scarborough Athletic current plays their home games at Queensgate, in Bridlington, a ground which is shared with Bridlington Town. A permanent move to a ground in Scarborough is hoped for the 2014–15 season.

Formation of Scarborough Athletic

The club was formed on 25 June 2007 following the winding up of Scarborough Football Club. Scarborough Athletic Football Club was founded as a continuation or rebirth of the previous club by a supporters' trust named The Seadog Trust. They took on the same red kit, nickname, motto and official club logo from the original club. The Trust successfully applied for membership of the North Riding County Football Association and the Northern Counties East League on 25 June 2007. Due to the unavailability of any suitable grounds in Scarborough, a ground-sharing agreement was made with Bridlington Town. On 29 June the club appointed former North Ferriby United manager Brian France as their first manager, who brought with him many former North Ferriby United players.

The campaign raises funds independently of the football club through events and initiatives.
