Scarborough’s Armed Forces Day will be celebrating its 11th anniversary from 10am on Saturday 29th June 2019. The event is one of hundreds held across the country on this day, to show our support for the men and women who make up the armed forces community to selflessly and bravely serve our country; from the troops serving currently to service families, veterans and cadets of the past. A mix of parades, bands, stands and demonstrations both on the ground and in the air are planned throughout the day. Expect to see showcases of military vehicles, vintage stalls and incredible displays along the town’s seafront. This year’s show will also host and celebrate the Centenary year of the Scarborough Sea Cadets.

South Bay will be closed to traffic for the event as the Foreshore Road, West Pier and Sandside prepares to welcome over 30,000 visitors to this free event which is set to be the biggest and most popular Armed Forces Day yet.
