Concerts at Scarborough Open Air Theatre

The UK's largest open-air theatre hosts some huge names this July. Whether you're into rock, pop, indie or comedy, there's usually something for everyone. Here's July's lineup:

Yorkshire Agricultural Shows

July is a great month for Yorkshire’s agricultural shows, offering a brilliant mix of livestock, local food, countryside displays, shopping and family entertainment.

Great Yorkshire Show | 14th - 17th July – one of the UK’s biggest agricultural events, held in Harrogate.

Ryedale Show | 28th July – a traditional country show set in the beautiful North York Moors.

Driffield Show | 22nd July – one of the county’s largest one-day agricultural shows, with livestock, food halls, trade stands and family activities.

A great day out for guests wanting to experience Yorkshire’s farming heritage and countryside atmosphere.

Scarborough Seafest

Scarborough Seafest is one of the town’s most popular summer events, celebrating the Yorkshire Coast’s fishing heritage, seafood, live music and family entertainment.

Usually centred around Scarborough Harbour, visitors can enjoy:

  • Fresh seafood and local food stalls
  • Live music and entertainment
  • Maritime displays
  • Cooking demonstrations
  • Family activities
  • A brilliant seaside atmosphere

Adventure Cinema at Castle Howard (From 17th July)

From 17th July, Adventure Cinema is coming to the stunning grounds of Castle Howard for an open-air cinema experience. Screenings take place within the picturesque parkland, overlooking the iconic stately home. Here's what's scheduled:

Castle Howard

Returning Summer-Long Events
July marks the return of Planet Circus to the coast, located just a few minutes from both Crows Nest Caravan Park and Lebberston Caravan Park. Every year the circus returns bigger and better, with stunt shows, aerial artists and classic circus acts. Their nightly shows begin from 20th July.

Peasholm Park's Naval Warfare returned at the end of June and will have weekly mini-battles throughout the summer. The 30-minute show is a fun action-packed experience for all ages.
