Walking into the ABI St David from its side access door leads you directly into the kitchen. You will find the dining table and four upholstered chairs to the left with the main ‘C’-shaped kitchen ahead. On the right are floor-to-ceiling cupboards concealing the integrated fridge/freezer and the combi boiler that supplies the caravan with hot water for domestic sinks as well as the central heating system.
The kitchen is light and bright with white, shaker-style doors with wooden knobs. With plenty of cupboards for storage and ample work surfaces, meals can be prepared as easily as they would be at home. On the left, the top cabinet has a set of open shelves and is cantilevered above the work surface ensuring that whoever is busy cooking can still chat with those in the lounge area.
Fitted appliances include a four-burner cooker with oven and grill backed by a tall, black glass splashback. Over the cooker is a powered extractor fan and hood. An integrated microwave oven is also included.
For relaxation, the warm, fresh tones of the soft furnishings offer a welcoming feel. The lounge itself is a pleasant and comfortable space. On the right, a seating area looks towards the fireplace with its timber mantelpiece and electric flame effect fire with a large mirror above. Within the seating area sits a centrally positioned pull-out sofa bed for occasional use ensuring 6 people can comfortably sleep within the ABI St David.
At the front of the lounge are patio doors that lead out onto an integrated, covered decked area. The perfect place to sit outside and watch the world go by – whatever the weather. This covered area also incorporates two downlighters set above the sliding patio doors, ideal for evening relaxation.
At the rear of the caravan, the master bedroom has a large double bed with a padded, framed headboard, with wall-mounted lights for bedtime reading and bedside tables at each side of the bed. The colours are bright and contemporary with shades of teal on the headboard and curtains. The master bedroom also includes a wardrobe with mirrored doors and a set of open shelves for additional storage. Also included is a vanity unit with a chest of drawers, a shelf, a mirror and a stool.
In the corner of the master bedroom, you will find the ensuite. Furnished with WC and hand basin, it’s a useful addition if you’ve got a larger family or friends staying, and you’d rather not queue for the loo.
The smaller of the two bedrooms has two beds with the same teal-coloured, padded, framed headboards that are found in the master bedroom. Between the beds is a central bedside table with an overheard reading lamp. Equipped with a wardrobe with drawers underneath and a mirror with a vanity shelf to the side. There is room to walk between the beds and space at the foot of them for dressing.
The family shower room across from the twin bedroom also feels bright and airy. The shower cubicle has a sliding glazed door and a power shower with thermostat is mounted on the tiled wall. An oblong wash hand basin is mounted on a storage cabinet providing space for toiletries at the same time as enclosing pipework.
As with all caravans the ABI St David Exclusive has room for a car at the front with a grassed area at the side for playing or relaxing.
