Fancy a cuppa?

The winter months are a great time for us to explore and find other treats that our guests can indulge in whilst they stay with us and a personal favourite of mine (and my friends) has been “Afternoon Teas”.

We’ve enjoyed afternoon teas with a good cup of Yorkshire Tea and others with a nice glass of Prosecco – each place has been different, prices and selection of food has been varied but the welcome we have received has been lovely and it really has been an afternoon of relaxation, passing the time away with friends and/or family in some of the most beautiful towns and villages that our county has to offer.

Here are some of the places we have been – or are hoping to visit:

Ampleforth Abbey Tea Room

Beadlham Grange Farm Shop & Tea Room

Betty’s Tea Rooms, York – surely the most famous of places to enjoy an afternoon cuppa

Black Swan, Helmsley

Castle Howard - Bookings must be made online in advance

Cedar Barn Farm Shop

The Patisserie, Malton

The Talbot, Malton

Let us know if you visit one of the above – or indeed, find somewhere else we should try – so we can share your thoughts with other guests.
